Been going here for over 30 years since I was a little kid. Not much has changed since then the food is still fantastic and service is great. Love the chips and sauce you get to start only place I’ve been that has that. Prices are great! One my favorite places!
Tonight was our first time ordering dinner from this restaurant since we moved here about 4 months ago. The man who took our order over the phone was super sweet. We arrived at the restaurant and were immediately greeted and told our food would be right out. I peeked over the counter at everything posted on the wall. Different awards, photos with I assume important people and newspaper clippings with stories they've been featured in. It was pretty nice to see. In a few mins out came the cutest man with a big box full of our food. I immediately recognized him from all the photos on the wall and I assume he's the owner. I didn't ask but it felt pretty cool to have the owner bring out our food. We thanked them for their service and were soon on our way home. The car smelled amazing. The portions were very generous and we will have food for days. My oldest loved the dumplings. My youngest the ribs. My husband the fried chicken. I really enjoyed my pork fried rice and my mother in law her ribs tips. Thanks for the amazing food! We will definitely be ordering again!
Such a delightful and delicious experience at this local restaurant.Traveling through Mooresville and gave this one a try for dinner and so glad we did! Exceptional quality to both meals. Cooked fresh to order. I had Coconut Shrimp, and Husband had Seasame Chicken. Egg rolls were to die for! Shrimps were amazing and huge, cooked perfectly with the most delicious sauce. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly, service was excellent and food was served fast. BEST HOT AND SOUR SOUP I've ever had! And I have had lots. Great place to stop. Excellent 5 star all the way!!
I forgot how good this place was. Honestly the best Chinese restaurant in the area (they do some Thai dishes too)... the broccoli and beef was amazing. The portion was generous too—I had enough left over to feed my future self (you’re welcome, Tomorrow Me).... the wait staff is 5 star too. They keep the lemon water glass filled to the brim. I highly recommend this place.
First time here, and I was not disappointed. Ordered the chicken w/ veggies and chicken lo mein. The food tastes great. I asked if they had a small portion of the lo mein and they gave me a half serving. Had the food to go, and went in the middle of the afternoon so the place was slow and the food was ready very quickly. Lotus is one of the best locally, right there with Huang’s.
Stop looking around. THIS IS THE PLACE. Come to a place where the wait staff real work to ensure you have a great dining experience. A place that doesn’t bring little plastic packets of Duck Sauce but a small saucer. Great sweet tea. Huge portions! If I had to find an issue is way too many Yankees have found this place and having to listen to them talk way too loud about how great things were up north.
It was late and my Google-Fu skills found this place recommended. It was almost closing time, but I was welcomed in. Food was delish and I was checked on just the right amount of times. Everything was cooked fresh and the rice was not overcooked or sticky. Their version of General Tso's Chicken was very good. Not too hot and the chicken was crisp.
Everything about this place is excellent. The very friendly attentive service was my favorite, but the food also was excellent. Love the free fried wantons with sweet and sour sauce.
